Camping is back at Joe Wheeler State Park
Camping at Joe Wheeler State park is back!
Officials announced today that beginning Monday, February 21, 2022 you can once again make reservations for both RV and primitive camping at one of North Alabama’s most beloved camping destinations.
“The tornado that passed through Joe Wheeler State Park on December 16, 2019, devastated our beloved campground and day-use/picnic area, forcing the park to close these areas and cancel all camping reservations.
