Good Grief! For the first time in more than half a century our favorite Charlie Brown holiday specials will not be available on broadcast television. No more gathering the family together to tune in with the rest of the country for It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown or catching up on some turkey induced snoozes while the kids watch A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving.

I know. 🙁

It looks like we’re all being forced into the 21st century (some of us kicking and screaming) thanks to a deal between Peanuts Worldwide and Apple TV+. Great news if you are already an Apple TV+ subscriber because you’ll get access to these holiday favorites before everyone else. It’s a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown is already available for streaming as of publication.

Not a subscriber? Don’t worry, we’ve got some good news on that front. Apple TV+ will be making each of these beloved holiday specials available FOR FREE for a limited time. Check listings below and go ahead and figure out how to access the app (via your smart tv, various mobile devices, or computer) and then mark your calendar.

• A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving from November 25-27.
• A Charlie Brown Christmas from December 11 -13.
