Although not technically a formal farmers market, Reeves’ Peach Farm is a local favorite with something special to enjoy year-round. This family-owned farm has been a passion for generations and includes a country market and restaurant with quality homegrown produce and smoked meat.

The Madison County Farmer’s Market is one of the oldest institutions still in business. With commercial vendors at each and selling a variety of produce, the middle portion is set aside for produce farmers to sell their fresh fruits and vegetables.

Bill’s Honey Farm

Bill’s Honey Farm is a great place to visit if you want to learn more about bees and would like to get a close up look at a beehive without getting stung. Friendly owner Bill sells fresh local honey, blueberries, blackberries, and beeswax candles as well as pollen by the bag.
Boyd Family Farm

One of the largest pick-your-own blueberry patches in North Alabama, the berry patch at Boyd Family Farm is open on weekends in mid-June through late August. The farm is located less than an hour away from downtown Huntsville and aims to reconnect people and the outdoors. There are also over many animals living on the farm, with some located in habitats that are available to view by the public. Cash only.
Brown Farms

A u-pick staple for many years, Brown Farms’ sweet strawberries are local and legendary. Strawberry season typically runs mid-April through the end of May, and strawberries are available for picking or pre-picked by the bucket. Also available for sale are ferns, flowers, arrangements, sweet treats, and farmhouse decor items. Children can enjoy the massive bounce pad while parents relax under the shaded pavilion. Crow Mountain Orchard

This orchard is bit of a drive, but totally worth it. Fruit is grown on 150 acres of apples, peaches, nectarines, pears, berries, and cherries, and they press their own fresh cider starting in September. Orchard is open 7 days a week, typically June through December. Cash, checks, or FNP coupons only.

Isom’s Orchard & Roadside Stand

Isom’s Orchard is another area favorite, famous for their apple cider and apple slushies! This 4th generation farm is open daily May – November, where they offer fresh peaches, apples, gourds, pumpkins, and fresh produce.
Gin House Branch Farm

For nearly 20 years, Gin House Branch Farm has grown various berry crops. Since 2004, the farm has been exclusively a U-pick enterprise and welcomes visitors to pick their fresh blueberries and muscadine grapes.
Rolling Rock Muscadine Vinyard

Possibly the largest u-pick vineyards in North Alabama, where you can pick several varieties of muscadine grapes. The vineyard also sometimes offers muscadine jelly. Open on weekends 9AM – 5PM, Labor Day weekend through October.
Scott’s Orchard

Specializing in apples & peaches and goodies like cider, fruit butters, honey, jams, and jellies, this long-standing orchard in Madison County is very popular in the fall & summer. They grow 18 different varieties of apples and 20 different varieties of peaches, and the farm makes a beautiful location for photography sessions and weddings (appointments required).
